The Panama-based company who's mission is to develop revolutionary blue technology that makes the 72% of the world that is covered in water into an eco-sustainable paradise have unveiled The SeaPod, the first eco-restorative floating home in the world.
Shaped like a seashell and inspired by the fluid and infinite nature of water, the Sea Pod is without rigid angles and aimed to be ultramodern and futuristic. Standing 2.5 meters (8 feet) above the water with over 830 square feet of living space spread over three levels along with an expansive patio and 575 square feet of panoramic windows.
Just like any home the pods come coplete with a kitchen, dining and living room with the bedrooms and bathrooms situated on the top floor. As you can imagine the Sea Pods will come with all the mod-cons. A ring will be provided to each pod owner, enabling them to regulate everything from the lighting and temperature to the shower's heat and water pressure. Along with A personalized drones employed to deliver food, medicine, and other necessities to the pods.
The Seap Pods will be available to order from September, with prices ranging from $295,000 to $1.5 million depending upon the owner customization, the first 100 units will be delivered in the third quarter of 2023, with an additional rollout of 1,000 pods in 2024.
