Well known for its passionate car culture Dubai is home to an assortment of supercars which is why next month RM Sotheby’s will hold it’s first-ever auction in Dubai and looks to be a real head turner!
The boutique auction will take place at the stunning Concrete venue at Alserkal Avenue in the fashionable Al Quoz district featuring a variety of blue-chip collector cars, ranging from the classics of yesteryear to the modern hypercars of today.
Among a plethura of supercars from Mercedes, Porsches, McLaren’s and Rolls Royce’s stand out sales include a rare 2016 Koenigsegg Agera RSR one-of-three Agera RSR made exclusively for the Japanese market. Powered by a 5.0-litre V8 that is capable of producing a staggering output of 1,160 horsepower it was at one point regarded as one of the world’s fastest production car. The Koenigsegg has been used sparingly with only 993 kilometres on its odometer and is estimated to sell for between $2.8 – 3.4 millioN.
Also up for sale is an almost unused 2023 Aston Martin Valkyrie Coupé with just 123 kilometres on its odometer. The one-owner car is finished in Scintilla Silver on the outside, contrasted with bright red accents. The track-focused hypercar is expected to sell for as $3.3 million
If these two rare marques weren’t enough the auction also includes a 2017 Lamborghini Centenario LP770-4 Coupé. A tribute to company founder Ferruccio Lamborghini’s centenary year; with just 112 Kilometer this one of just 20 examples of the Centenario made in coupé form is estimated to fetch between $2,000,000 – $2,500,000 USD
For Ferrari fans, there is also a 2022 Ferrari 812 Competizione. The 812 Superfast arrived amid great fanfare as Ferrari’s two-seat, front-engined, rear-wheel-drive flagship model, and the fitment of a 6.5-litre 789 brake horsepower V-12 engine ensured that it more than lived up to its name. It was marketed by the Maranello marque as the “fastest and most powerful Ferrari yet” and interest in the car was understandably huge. One of only 999 examples produced and with just 90 kilometres on its odometer this prancing horse is estimated to sell for between $1,100,000 – $1,300,000.
